Hi, I'm Motte. That's not my actual name but that's what I guess I'm going by online now. It means moth in German.
I've been in no way interested in the internet since... well basically since web2, I guess. or, since I grew up, and online worlds all collectively decided to commit mass suicide, for some reason. I've pretty much always been a history nerd though, (except for a brief stint in 4th grade) and now the web is old enough to be cool, so here I am, trying to figure out how things work.
Also, fair warning, I tried to make this site look somewhat reminiscent of books from the 1800s and before, so if you see a page and think "oh my god this is entirely too much text" that's the goal!!
To the left there should be a navigation bar to let you wander through pages of my interests - and you'll probably quickly find out how intertwined they all are. I like sewing, but only historical sewing, and I like horse riding, but only the traditions really, and I like history, but mostly only about women or horses or sewing. So.... I like to branch out, in case you couldn't tell. Hopefully this page won't be too empty for too long, I'm sure I'll eventually find enough pointless bullshit to stuff here like I did with my spacehey. Oh hey speaking of which

My second tumblr is kind of like my digital binder of old stuff I find... I use it mostly just to keep track of my own projects. I have a post there saying I get freaked out when other people interact with it because I do lol but if you wanna peep a lotta pictures, check it out!!
I really like forums, and I really miss forums. I have a hard time finding ones that are (somewhat) active, and aren't trying too hard to look like some new app, so the few I know about go here. If you know of any, please share!! :)
